Alright, so what's driving me nuts tonight? Toronto Sports teams. First the Jays hit a 7 game losing streak (it might have been 8, although they did win this afternoon), in some cases pulling defeat from the jaws of victory. Then the Raptors get knocked out of the playoffs (the last four minutes of that game were possibly some of the most exciting basketball I've seen in quite some time).

Alright those two don't piss me off too much. The Raptors were without their $90 Million man, Vince Carter. Of course he wasn't a huge help during the regular season, indeed they were looking at an early summer vacation this year until Vince went in for knee surgery, and the rest of them realized that they were going to have to do some work themselves.

The Jays? Pity the poor Jays. Far from their championship seasons 10 (?!?) years ago, the Jays have not got the kind of talent that challenges a big bankroll like that of the Yankees.

The Leafs though, after a tight and costly series with the New York Islanders, have not shown us the money (sorry, just got the Jerry Maguire Special Edition DVD this week). After a 5-0 loss on Thursday, the Leafs are, as I write this, heading into the first double overtime in the short history of the Air Canada Centre. This 2-2 tie comes after the Leafs had a 2-0 lead at the end of the first period. Curtis Joseph needs a rest! The team's defense is lacking, due to so many injuries, and the man needs a break. Let Corey Schwab suit up! Could he really do any worse than that 5-0 bloodbath of the other day? But then, what do I know? Of course, if I can see how exhausted Joseph is, shouldn't Pat Quinn be able to see it? Let's face it, the Hurricanes put their number two guy in net, and he helped them to beat the team that eliminated the Leafs for the past two years: The New Jersey Devils.

But like I said, if I knew how to run a Pro Hockey team, I wouldn't have the time to write this Blog...
